The History of a Custom Rugs

 Art of Rugs makes rugs creative by choosing the right colors, shapes, sizes, and materials. Our expert team can assist you in choosing from hundreds of colors, as well as matching paint chips, upholstery samples, artwork, and other items. Custom Made rugs aren't only for interior designers; anyone may make a one-of-a-kind rug for a single room or the entire house.

The Technique

1. Choose from various styles and colors, or have us create something based on your ideas and inspirations.

2. Select your style, material, shape, size, and color.

3. The order is placed and paid for after choosing the style, design, color, size, shape, and quality. 4. You will receive images of your rugs throughout the process and be notified of where it is on their way to you. 

5. You will have your custom rug within 12 weeks (or less)


The Consultation on Design

The early step of the custom-built procedure is one of the most exciting process components.

Based on your chosen source of inspiration - whether it's paint chips, fabric swatches, artwork, room pictures, floor plans, or your imagination – we'll help you customize one of our existing designs or recommend a new design to bring your ideas to life.

The color selection process is an integral part of the design consultation; our advisors will collaborate with you to develop color solutions that complement and match any color scheme.

When it comes to size, we can make a rug to fit whatever dimension or shape you need, or we can assist you to figure out what size carpet will look best in your space.

Australian wool, silk, bamboo, and textured yarns, in cut, loop, and shag pile, are among the textures and finishes we provide, and we can also offer carved lines. We can also provide building advice, whether it's for a hand-knotted, hand-tufted, or Axminster carpet.

Approval & Presentation of Artwork

Our design team will create and present you with artwork to scale after choosing the design and color.

Custom Rugs will include final color finishes and other samples to help you envision your finished rug. The production procedure can commence once you have given your approval.


The Completed Rug

Like all of our carpets, your personalized rug will be handcrafted by professional artisans. Depending on the size, pattern details, and construction of your rug. Designer Rugs crew will oversee the entire creation of your carpet.
